DriveWise had a busy week, attending both the OGRA (Ontario Good Roads Association) Conference at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto from February 26th-28th, as well as the Train in Technology Expo at the Barrie Molson Centre on March 1st.

The OGRA Conference brought together thousands of municipal leaders from around Canada. This year’s conference theme was “Leadership Matters”, which featured speakers like Hon. Kathleen Wynne (Premier of Ontario), Andrea Horwath (Leader of Ontario’s NDP), and Patrick Brown (Leader of Ontario’s PCs), as well as Chris Sands, James Howard Kunstler, and Mikael Colville-Anderson. These speakers discussed many topics, including urban mobility and transportation, bicycle planning, the end of industrialized society, and Ontario’s prospects in the age of Trump.

Paula Gray, Cole Fernie, and Martin de Repentigny were able to meet many municipal leaders, and learned more about what municipalities are looking for moving forward.
