- DriveWise requires the student to be ready at the agreed upon time for in-car appointments.
- Students must have G1 present for every session.
- DriveWise reserves the right to cancel the in-car appointments on short notice due to the weather, or other circumstances beyond their control.
- *The student will be certified online upon course completion with a minimum passing grade of 70% on all in-class and in-car assessments.
- As mandated by the MTO, Ontario driving schools are not able to issue driver’s licence certificates. Instead,students must request a drivers licence history (DLH) from their local vehicle licensing office ($12)
- *MTO regulations stipulate that the course must be completed within one year of the course start date
- *MTO regulations stipulate that students must have their G1 licence before beginning in-car lessons.
- Students from outlying areas will meet their in-car instructor at a predetermined pick-up point.
* Applies to SafeStart Course only.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
DriveWise course fees and deposits are non-refundable. If payment terms are not met, services will be suspended until terms are fulfilled.
DriveWise will charge $35.00 for dishonoured cheques.
The balance must be paid in full before the student begins their in-car lessons.
If an unforeseen circumstance arises, such as a death in the family and a student misses a lesson, the student will not be charged. If there are no extenuating circumstances, in-car appointment cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice are subject to a charge of the hourly rate of $45.00.
